Classes:
We offer a HUGE variety of 2 hour classes in most forms of beading I have a large repetoire and I'll try to list many of them (BUT REMEMBER THERE'S SO MUCH MORE!):
Beginning Instruction: Beginning Stranding, Beginning Wire, Flat Even Count Peyote, Looming (how to get started on the loom), Beaded Embellishment (the how-tos on materials), Simple Wire Bezels, Simple Finger Rings, Simple Earrings, Multi-strand pieces (up to 3 strands only), Coning How-To, Macrame, and there's probably more...just ask. Most of these classes are 2-hour classes - what cannot be finished you can take with you and finish at home. All of these classes are $25 per person, and MUST be calendered with me.
Intermediate Instruction: Multi-strand projects (3 and above), Woven Watchbands, Finger Weaving, Cold Connections in Wire, Off Loom Weaving (twisted herringbone, netting, flat odd-count peyote, tubular peyote, tubular herringbone, right angle weave, brick stitch, ladder stitch), Looming a Project, Multi-Media Projects, Chasing, Stamping, Wet felting, Needle Felting, Weaving, Wire Crochet, Viking Knit, and Chain Maille. Intermediate classes are $45.00, do not include materials, and will cover the technique only. Sometimes you may have to finish your project at home after you've learned the bulk of information.
Advanced Instruction: Wire (advanced bezels, advanced linking and
connections), Off Loom Weaving ( 2-drop peyote, russian weave, dutch spiral, and
anything else not listed above), Advanced Metal Forming
(damping, antiquing, texturing, drilling holes, etc.), Nuno Felting, Wet
Felted Cords, Foiling Pendants, Basketry with Wire, Advanced Looming (i.e.,
using different sized beads), Advanced Multi-Media (which emphasizes
design, color, and materials), Soldering Metals, Making my Own Beads
(multi-media), PMC techniques and pendants, Slumped glass pendants. Advanced classes are $80.00, do not include materials, and will cover the technique only. Sometimes you may have to finish your project at home after you've learned the bulk of information.
Many advanced techniques are a lot of work, time involved, and involve complex steps and preparations. When an advanced technique runs into these types of constraints, it is turned into a Workshop. Workshop prices vary according to length and materials.
